May is for Miracles and you can be a part of it! Millions of people are rallying together this May to help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. May is for Miracles is a concentrated effort among corporate partners to create awareness and raise money for the important work being done at member children’s hospitals, including Cook Children's. Through the generous support of companies, their employees, and you, their customers, all help make miracles happen for the kids of our community.
How can you help? When you see the iconic red and yellow balloon at a local retailer, support their fundraising efforts and buy a Miracle Balloon. As a proud member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, 100 percent of the money raised by area partners comes back to Cook Children’s.

Prom. It’s one of those special, memorable events in life that no teen should miss, especially because of illness. For 13 years, Cook Children’s child life services has hosted a prom for patients with chronic or life-threatening illnesses which keeps them from attending their own high school prom. This year’s masquerade themed prom took place in the atrium of the new Dodson Specialty Clinic on Saturday, April 26th. Patients and their guests from different schools throughout our community attended, decked out in formal wear, to dance and socialize in a fun, non-clinical setting.
